The ADQ-1000 Data Acquisition Server is the heart of Akamina's data acquisition system. It can acquire digital data from AWP-300 digital wave height gauges and it can also acquire high-level analogue voltages from up to 32 channels. The ADQ-1000 is managed by WaveGen-Studio, a graphical interface that runs on a PC. The server is connected to a local area network via a Gigabit Ethernet interface to allow high-speed data transfer with other PCs.
- 2 CAN Bus connectors for connecting up to 30 AWP-300 Wave Height Gauges per connector
- 16 or 32 16-bit differential-input channels
- input voltage range of +/- 10 V
- 300 Hz analogue anti-aliasing and noise reducing filter on each channel
- Convenient connection to BNC connectors mounted on the front panel
- optional connectors for connecting AWP-24-3 Wave Height Gauges to the system
- acquisition at 1000 samples per second
Digital CAN Bus interface for direct connection to digital data acquistion systems- supports data acquisition from Akamina's AWP-300 and AWP-24 series of wave height gauges or any other analogue sensor with a high-level analogue output
- use of WaveGen-Studio software provides command, control, acquisition and analysis from a PC
- easy connectivity of signal and power from the ADQ-1000 to the AWP-24 Series wave height gauges
- Daisy chain configuration of the CAN Bus signicantly reduces cabling complexity and cost.
- CAN Bus wave height gauges support remote monitoring and set up.
- CAN Bus interface eliminates many issues common in analogue data acquisition systems, such as noicse and grounding over long cables.
- PC/104 Industrial PC
- Intel Atom processor
- Conduction cooled
- Gigabit Ethernet interface
- 60 Watt power supply with 85 to 265 VAC input
- 3U, rack-mountable chassis
- 2.6 Linux kernel with hard real-time performance
- networked server solution eliminates the real time burden on Window clients
