WaveGen-Studio is rich in features to manage physical hydrodynamic studies. It combines the four components of: data acquisition, wave synthesis, wave generation and wave data analysis in a seamless, intuitive graphical interface to allow users to easily manage even the most complex experiments.
- user interface to Akamina's data acquisition server, the ADQ-1000
- designed for use on any PC running Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 8 Operating System
- easy to install and use
- WaveGen-Studio can communicate with the ADQ-1000 over a wireless connection
- physical hydrodynamic studies
- research, industry, educational facilities
- capture project-specific information
- manage channel information such as sensor name, serial number, data description and data units
- select channels for acquisition
- select a sampling frequency from 0.01 to 1000 samples per second
- manage AWP-300 wave height gauges including sensor discovery, channel assignment and configuration
- connect and disconnect from the server
- calibrate one or more channels at a time
- re-zero one or more channels at a time
- view calibration information
- acquire a data sample of virtually infinite length
- view one or more strip charts with one or more channels each in real time
- select past data samples for export as csv files
- update the ADQ-1000 server software.
WaveGen-Studio can be configured to support a diverse range of cababilities from simple analysis-only workstations to fully configured operator interface workstations that support data acquisition, wave synthesis, wave generation and wave data analysis for 3D facilities. Capabilities available to the user are defined by the software license acquired by the customer. For a complete breakdown of the packages and the capabilities supported please refer to the Software Packaging chapter in WaveGen-Studio Overview.
