WaveGen-Studio can be configured to support a diverse range of cababilities from simple analysis-only workstations to fully configured operator interface workstations that support data acquisition, wave synthesis, wave generation and wave data analysis for 3D facilities. Capabilities available to the user are defined by the software license acquired by the customer. Akamina acquired an exclusive license to GEDAP - Generalized Experiment control and Data Acquisition Package - developed by the National Research Council Canada. GEDAP is a well-proven, complete software solution for physical modelling in hydrodynamic laboratories. GEDAP brings wave synthesis and wave data analysis with sophisticated plotting capabilities to the Akamina data acquisition and control offering.



The AWP-24-3-E Capacitance Wave Height Gauge is outfitted with an external Push-Button with Status LED and Power LED mounted on the outside of the box to support configuration of the gauge without opening the enclosure. For more information please visit AWP-24-3 Wave Height Gauge.


After extensive evaluation, IH Cantabria, one of the premier environmental hydraulics institutes in Europe, has chosen the AWP-24 Wave Height Gauge from Akamina Technologies for their hydraulics research laboratories.


The AWP-300-3 Wave Height Gauge, with a CAN Bus digital interfaceis now available. This Wave Height Gauge is ideally suited for wave height measurements and integration with active wave absorption systems. Akamina completes the design and the successful installation of 56-segment wave generator control system upgrade. The upgrade included custom control hardware and software as well as data acquisition hardware and software. This work was done for EDF - Laboratoire National d'Hydraulique et Environnement (EDF-LNHE) in Chatou, France.
